Staying Hydrated During Saudi Summer

With temperatures regularly exceeding 45°C across the Kingdom, dehydration is a serious risk. Drink at least 2.5–3 litres of water daily, avoid direct sun exposure between 11am and 4pm, and watch for early signs of heat exhaustion such as dizziness, dark urine, and rapid heartbeat. Patients with diabetes or heart conditions should consult their doctor about adjusting fluid intake.
